My parents are still hooked on cable. Between that, the landlines, and the internet, they are paying $140 A MONTH! That is insane. If they got rid of the phones and the cable, they can pay for the internet which would be $40 and then sign up for Netflix or something and be paying less than half.

They taught me nothing! LOL! I wish I had listened to my oldest brother because he was smart about it. He actually advised me not to go to college and attend a community school or trade school and focus on a career I know I can find work in first cause I can always go back to school. Mistakes were made. I know better now/

Most places still do have value menus but they are not as “robust” as they used to be! I noticed this changing when I was still in college. What I tend to do with my mom is order a value meal and we split it. This saves money and most of the time there are coupons where my dad eats for free or almost free. We end up getting food for the three of us for under $8.

I have never been someone to bother with coupons but my mother does and she uses those card sheets for collectible cards. The ones that have 9 pockets on them. She uses tape to label them so she knows when they expire. She just goes according to month and year, she doesn’t worry about the exact date. When coupons are within 6 weeks of expiring, she moves that sheet to the front of her binder.

I think you will have a hard time doing this. I have not known anyone to get more than 25 points in a month and that was a stretch. if you have less credit/debt, it might be easier but if you have more, don’t expect to see major changes like this even when you are taking steps in the right direction.

From what I know, this depends on the amount you owe. Like if it is a smaller amount, you may as well just pay it off but if you owe more, put the money you have aside and make 2 payments a month. I built up my credit doing this. Shame it got hit hard from my other debts!

I love looking at homes online that are for sale and when I find ones I like, I actually enjoy recreating them in that Sims 4 game. Something I noticed when doing this though is that most houses go on the market and are bought within a few weeks, sometimes within a few days! I started doing this last year and I was shocked to see people being able to buy housing considering millions lost their jobs! I don’t know much about the value going up but I have heard others voicing their concerns.
