Thanks for your tips guys/gals!
Yeah, I know about value menus but they seem so much smaller these days. I don’t tend to find many things I like on those. I guess I will have to really look at the coupons and only eat out when I have deals.

I am in the same boat. I keep hearing about people getting huge revenue through investments. One of the people my friend works with ended up being able to buy a house because he invested in the right crypto. That is nuts to think about, using cash to buy a house in 2021.

Oh, really? I was not aware that you can’t buy crypto with credit cards. Do they only accept banking cards then? I wish I had knew this sooner. I would not have been looking into these options. I didn’t know you could use loans either but I guess that makes sense. You get a personal loan and just have the money in your bank account.

Hey Sammy! Retiring early is a goal for me too. I would love to be retired by 50 and spend my “golden years” with friends and family, do some traveling, and enjoy that half of my life.

Hey Bob! It was new for me too. I remember when I first made the change, it was hard not to spend like I was before but once you get a system down, things become a lot easier.

Well, my parents weren’t exactly great with their money. Oftentimes, I would get money as a gift or as an allowance for doing something around the house and be questioned as to why I haven’t spent it. Once time I managed to save up over $200 and I think I was 12 at the time, maybe 13. My mom thought I stole it from her. Needless to say, they didn’t teach me much of anything!

Thanks, I am going to look into these. I know someone who has an etsy shop and from what I have heard, the prices aren’t that bad. You only pay them when you make a sale and it is relatively cheap to do so.

I guess this does make sense. City living is already expensive and living in or near the city will always increase unless the city ends up getting run down like Detroit but even then, they have 8 Mile where one road splits people living in poverty from people living high off the horse!

Does making two payments a month really help?
I guess this means making a payment every time I get paid (bi-weekly). I have read good and bad things about this though. I will have to look into it more.

Seems like this is the case for most things. If you know the right people, you have a step up in life from the start. Sucks how that works out. I mean that is good you don’t need a degree but still. If you don’t know anyone, you are not as likely to get hired.

If you don’t mind me asking, how much did you make off your investments? Paying off a house to me sounds like you made a lot off DOGE. I guess it is not likely to have that great of a jump again so if you missed out, you missed out. At least that is what I have been reading since posting this.

This sounds just like my parents! They have been with cable since I was born and they are very reluctant to be without it. They have considered it but each time they had, they changed their minds. It is a shame too because switching to something else would be substantially cheaper!

That is one of the biggest downsides to cable TV and other things of that nature, you are locked into a contract. It is best to get ones that you are contracted to stay. They not only are less likely to raise the cost of your monthly services but you lose nothing if you decide to change.
