Good for TV’s. Works great for TV’s. Not suitable for Bluetooth headsets connected to an electronic musical keyboard, which I was hoping to use it for as well.

Great bluetooth transmitter/receiver. This little guy outperforms itself! Despite the negative reviews I saw on here, this device paired up quickly with my laptop and has no lag, meaning in a video the audio and video are perfectly in sync. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to transmit to old school wired speakers. It also remembers and connects every time I power up the PC. Works perfectly!

Well, It IS a $17 unit. So I bought this to transmit from a stereo to a bluetooth speaker on my patio. Heres how it went…Hookup and connecting to bluetooth speaker was very easy, took a minute or less. Volume level was very low, and I had to crank up the volume on my stereo to play at a decent level with my bluetooth speaker. I used the RCA outputs on my stereo, to the AUX port on the Unit, maybe the RCA output level is too low for this unit, who knows.I could NOT get it to pair with my Iphone to use as a Receiver, though. No matter, thats not what I wanted it for anyway. I can bluetooth right to the speaker from my phone anyway.Heres where the problem lies….. The Latency on this unit is atrocious. I mean seconds of delay, even standing right next to the source with bluetooth speaker in hand. If you are anywhere within earshot of your source music, this will drive you batty. Its like you’re in an echo chamber. If I close my doors and windows, and cannot hear the source music, it is fine.I did find the range on it to be slightly better than expected, as I walked around my yard with the speaker in hand.It DOES work as described, for the price its hard to complain, but I will be looking into a better unit for my needs.

Just what I needed. Oh man I’m so glad I found this. I was given a turntable as a gift, and it came with a tiny pair of tabletop speakers that just weren’t going to do it for me. And then just because of how my apartment is set up, I could not find a cord long enough to connect the turntable to my speakers without it being all in the way. At first I could only find bluetooth receivers and then I finally found this. The bluetooth connectivity is fast and simple. Easy to set up and easy to use. It’s also about the size of an 8 pack of AA batteries, so it is very compact and absolutely is not in the way. And since it plugs in, there’s no worry about battery life So far it works well. The instructions in the box were simple to follow (you have to toggle it into transmitter or receiver mode) and I have not had a problem with it since I set it up. Connecting these to my stereo is much, much more satsifying than using the tabletop speakers. This was a lifesaver.

Handy Gaget. The coolest thing I can convert anything to or from Bluetooth. It has a very simplistic interface. Only problems seems to be connecting to the speaker I am using only after cycling power on unit , if I turn the speaker off then back on later, it doesn’t not auto connect or remember the speaker. I am using it in transmit mode (has receiver mode also), plugged into a mic jack on rack stereo system to receive on Bluetooth speaker in another room. Good simple design, very handy garget. Love it. Seems to have a slight latency around 1/2 sec or less, not noticeable if in another room. Received from 3 floor room good range. Has buttons for volume, that controls the output to speaker.

Works well as TV transmitter. The device functions well transmitting TV audio to my hearing aids, but I first had to fiddle with it to get it to work properly. It took some persistence to get it to pair with my hearing aids, but after the first couple times, it seemingly learned how and now pairs as soon as I turn it on. It also interferes with the Roku device. I moved the transmitter to the opposite end of the TV and now it works fine. The audio is very clear, and I can hear it when I go into the next room. The only remaining issue is the latency audio delay, which seems like a quarter second, takes some getting used to.

Works as it should. Works as it should.

Worked briefly, but there were issues. Quit transmitting completely after a few days. I bought this product because I didn’t like that the Bluetooth transmitter in my Samsung TV shuts off the sound to all other connected sound devices when a Bluetooth device is connected. I wanted the option of having the regular speakers on low while someone who needs more volume could use Bluetooth headphones simultaneously. I got that to work pretty well, except that there is a considerable lag between the sound in the room and the sound in the headphones which is pretty confusing and annoying. But there is another problem that was really unexpected and strange. When the Bluetooth headphones are turned off, this device tries to pair up with the television which causes the TV to lose its picture and otherwise act really bizarre. I was able to get rid of that problem by going into some really weird and scary settings using “secret” key combinations on the TV remote to get deep into some very strange, hidden and scary technical settings in the TV software to shut off the TV’s Bluetooth. I am moderately tech-savvy and follow instructions really well, but this process made me very uncomfortable, though I did manage to do it successfully. So it seemed to work okay for a few days. Then I went to try to show my sister-in-law how to use it and couldn’t get any sound through the headphones. I thought that the problem was with the headphones at first, but it will not transmit sound to anything. The display and the devices indicate that there is a connection, but there is no sound at all.I had this thing for close to a year before I hooked it up, so I don’t plan to ship it back. However, I did order a different device that claims to have very low latency that I think may work better for my intended purposes.
