Used for over a year and it works perfect. The media could not be loaded. Really nice, tiny, portable digital recorder. I am using the VOC feature that only records when there is noise. Works perfectly well.It uses a C USB charging cable. It is not PD compliant. If you plug it into a high wattage USB station, like the terrific 320 watt MGRNPONY one that I use, in a 30 watt or higher outlet the recorder will not charge. Rather, this model only charges when it is plugged into a normal, 15 watt C USB charger. The unit protects itself by not accepting a charge that is too high wattage. Interesting. It holds a charge forever. I use it on VOC mode at least 8 hours per week. The charge lasts months.Highly adjustable. All settings are self explanatory.Highly recommended for anyone who wants a relatively inexpensive digital recorder.

Picks up voices well. This recorder works incredibly well. I was skeptical because of the low price, but it works. It can even pick up soft talkers and whispering to some extent. This is perfect for recording a lecture. It’s also very user friendly. I did need to skim the manual, but was up and running in a matter of a couple of minutes.I could not figure out how to get auto recording to work and the manual states that it is not recommended to use this feature. I believe the feature is probably there, but maybe not. It might have been disabled.Pros:- The manual claims it will record for 30 hours on the default settings.- Intuitive interface- Intuitive manual- Incredibly sensitive and able to pick up soft talkers and to some extent whispering- Very small. Even the videos didn’t give it justice on it’s size. It’s tiny.Cons:- Auto record either doesn’t exist or is difficult to figure outI can’t speak on durability though, but I did drop it from 3 feet on to concrete the first day. Ugh, thought at that low of a price it would break, but it did not!

Great for Zoom Meetings That Aren’t Recorded. I recently bought the Digital Voice Recorder 16GB with Playback for Lectures for my wife after she mentioned that her manager had been talking rudely to her. This recorder has been a game-changer for her, providing peace of mind and a reliable way to document conversations. The device is compact and easy to use, with a simple interface that makes recording quick and hassle-free. The sound quality is excellent, capturing voices clearly even in noisy environments. The 16GB storage is more than enough for hours of recordings, and the playback feature allows her to review conversations immediately, which has been particularly helpful. One of the best features is the USB rechargeable battery, which lasts for days on a single charge. The device connects easily to a computer, making file transfers and organization straightforward. My wife has already used it a few times, and it has provided solid evidence when she needed to address her concerns with HR.Overall, this digital voice recorder has proven to be an invaluable tool for my wife. It’s given her confidence and a sense of control in a difficult work environment, and I’m glad we made the purchase.

Great audio in a small package. My fiance got me this when I started back to college so I could record my lectures. It was the best recorder I think I’ve ever used for school. The clarity of sound when listening to playbacks is top notch. The mic might actually be too good because you can hear everything from someone taking their foot against their desk to someone rustling in their book bag on the other side of the room. It was kind of crazy. However, the lecture was equally easy to hear. The mic was able to pick up questions from other students who spoke quietly and were not near to where I was seated.I love the fact that if you get a micro USB to USB-C cable, you can directly download the recordings to your phone so you can use your earphones because this isn’t a Bluetooth recorder (if you have a phone that has USB-C, otherwise you’d need whatever cable goes to your specific phone). I’ve had this recorder for a year now and it’s still performing like the first day. I even got one for my daughter when she started actual college attendance. We both have ADHD, so being able to listen to lectures multiple times really helps. The other thing I love is that it is small and fits in my backpack without taking up a lot of space. It can be carried in a pocket without being noticed. I used to set it on the front of my desk at school and nobody noticed I was recording the lecture. I had a classmate that sat next to me miss class one day and asked what we covered when they came back. I asked if they’d like a copy of the lecture and even though I’d recorded every lecture, they had no clue. They thought I just had an mp3 player on my desk every day! Also worth mentioning is the battery. The battery life on this is absolutely amazing. I charged it to full before the first day of class and I only had to charge it up once or twice the entire 4 month semester, using it every class day. And it charges really fast. No need for AAA batteries with the built in rechargeable battery. That alone is a major plus in my book. So, if you’re a student and like to record your lectures, I highly recommend this little recorder. It saved my life during review sessions for tests in all my classes. Record the reviews and use those recordings to tailor study time. It’s great!
