Accurate track. I’ve had the tracker hooked up for about a month and no issues so far. The install is easy and straightforward. The company is excellent when you call them with a question, they actually answer the phone and walk you through the solution. They even email with follow up. The tracker itself seems to be quite accurate, as it will track your daily movements with close accuracy. You get email alerts every time the vehicle is moved or leaves the geo fence perimeter. Overall very satisfied with the tracker and the service.

REAL PERSONS REVIEW (not paid). I’m actually a real person with limited knowledge of GPSs. This is a really good one. I bought one for my. At since I let a friend borrow it. I’ve had it hooked up to a 12V 15 minute battery for the last 4 days with no charge. It’s was strong and still no drain on the battery. Wanted to make sure it worked well before I placed it on the car and drained that battery. It is now on the car and monitoring as it should. It even tells you the battery voltage on the app, so you can make sure to either start the vehicle and charge it or disconnect the gps. Installation is easy!Subscription is required, but it’s only $12 a month (which I got the first month to make sure it works), or $132 for a year (comes out to $11 a month). You can easily access to change or cancel at any time!Love the push notifications. You can also have text and email notifications.I just purchase a second one for my SUV that doesn’t get driven as much, but it’ll be nice to know where it is at all times!

I would recommend, easy to set up and easy to use. I would recommend this for any fleet or if you have a teen that you want to make sure is staying safe. It’s easy to use and the price point makes it a no brainer. It was easy to store and was simple to plug in, it doesn’t seem to drain the battery if left over time.

Easy Peasy. This review is only after 5 or 6 days of use and, I am not using any of the advanced features, just tracking a vehicle. For all intense and purposes, this unit is functioning flawlessly for me. I particularly like the hard wired feature and not having to worry about changing a battery out when it’s low. A little more work up front but definitely worth it. Attached is a sample of a day of driving for this idiot. Forgot to add that the app is really easy to use for the simple stuff.

Works great and easy setup. This did exactly what I needed it to do. Connected to the battery on my trailer, signed up in a few minutes and had my assest tracked without issue. For $13 a month, this is great peace of mind. The GPS signal is also quite accurate, stays updated, easy to use and worked great. When installing, the size was perfect as I could tuck it somewhere discreet.

i think it’s great. I originally purchased the Optimus 2.0 GPS Tracker for use on my semi-trailer truck. Although there was more drifting than I would have liked, overall, it performed quite well. Since I found a more suitable installation spot that also allows for continuous power supply, it has become more convenient for me as I no longer need to take it down periodically for charging. Therefore, I purchased the GB 100 and asked the online customer service to help with the hardware exchange and installation on my semi-trailer truck. The result has been very satisfying. It updates the location quickly and also sends back the battery voltage, allowing me to know the condition of the battery. After parking for a while, the update speed decreases, but as soon as the vehicle starts moving, it updates the location quickly again. I believe this must be due to a vibration detection feature in the hardware. In other reviews, I have seen concerns about the precision of the location and severe drifting issues. I think it’s important to have a basic understanding when installing a GPS device. The signal strength from satellites is very weak, so the top of the locator (the side with the label) should ideally face the sky, without any metal objects blocking it. If it’s obstructed by glass or plastic, there should be no problem. You can install it inside the dashboard (try not to install it under a metal bracket) or inside the bumper, as long as you adhere to the principle of the locator’s front facing the sky, unobscured by metal objects. If installed under the vehicle with the front facing down, the probability of your locator receiving diffracted satellite signals increases, which will affect the positioning accuracy. Believe me, this physical limitation applies to products from any brand.

Works extremely well. Easy install. This Optimus unit is much more precise than I expected in a consumer GPS. I moved the car over 3 feet on the driveway, and it registered that small move and drew a new map. Impressive. It updates at 30 second intervals, which is adequate for my use, which is to track the car if it is stolen (just had another car stolen from me in Arizona — and recovered by Colorado police – YAY! ). It is also very sensitive to movement such as shutting the trunk or closing a door. For some, it might be too sensitive, but if so, the apps do allow you to turn the “movement alert” on and off quickly. Obviously anyone trying to monkey with the car is going to set it off — even if they jack it up for stealing wheels or to tow, it is going to alert. The phone app and the web browser app are not all that impressive, but they do respond quickly to the units communications, usually within 5-7 seconds of the “triggering event” in my testing of it. It also uses Google maps, so that is a good thing. Overall, I’d say the apps are mediocre, but still no complaints, as they DO get the job done in a basic way. Installation is as simple as splicing into a 12v wire (“hot” at all times) and a ground wire. Easy as pie (the unit comes with its own in-line fuse holder and 5A fuse). It draws only a few mA, and leaving the car parked for 5 days without being started had no effect at all on the battery’s starting power delivery. I can’t speak to longevity or durability, but the GPS unit seems to be well made and a solid piece. As long as it holds up over time, this seems to be a really good unit and a nice bang-for-the-buck value.
