I would say both have their ups and downs but it depends on what level of work you want to put in. With Amazon, you just stock the warehouse with your items and they handle all the shipping. With eBay, you need to do this all yourself which means more work for you but your items are less likely to be broken or lost.

I see plenty of people still doing this. I shop on eBay over Amazon when I want to use my Paypal balance. Since Amazon doesn’t allow Paypal, I end up looking for what I need on eBay and have received Amazon packaging when my stuff arrived. So I know people still do it. I am not sure how much you could realistically earn though.

Yes! I have two blogs. One is about gardening and the other is for general arts and crafts. I make an average of $800 between the two. It took a while to get here though and since 2020, my earnings have dropped off a bit. I was making $1200 in 2019 but my average is down to $800 now. Still, I am happy with it!

My fiance and I were going to make a small deck for outside and changed our minds when we saw how high the prices went up. We just ended up getting those loose stones and filling in the area with that for now. It isn’t as nice but it functions for what we wanted.

I think it is. Most small businesses that function online are easy to run and don’t cost a lot, especially if you aren’t hiring anyone else to help. A friend of mine runs her business out of a spare bedroom in her house. She has all the inventory in there, a desk with a computer, a label printer for mailing out and shipping packages, and any extra items she keeps in a closet in the same room. She is able to keep on top of orders and has a steady flow of earnings each month. It hardly costs her anything to run her site too.

If it sounds too good to be true, then it is! That is the one thing you need to keep in mind all the time when you see this stuff online. I have seen so many listings on Craigslist alone that are looking to scam people, it is not even funny. They all promise thousands of dollars a month for only a few hours of work a week. If it were really that easy, more people would be doing it!!

Avoid buying convenient foods! I can buy a frozen meal for $3 each or I can get all the ingredients to make the same meal for $10 and be able to have 6 or more meals from it so it makes sense for me to just meal prep. I think it is worth looking into if you never tried it.
