In the gaming community on YouTube, SwaggerSouls is also well known for gaming with strangers. The popular YouTube gamer launched his YouTube channel in May 2015 but didn’t start uploading videos until a year later. Since then, he has gained more than 3 million YouTube fans and millions of views by uploading videos of live-action skits, gameplay content, and general updates. He also belongs to a podcasting group called Misfits along with five of his friends.

SwaggerSouls makes his money off his internet endeavors, such as sharing distinguished interactive videos of himself playing games with strangers and sharing other types of gaming videos. Generally, the posts new videos each week that each garner hundreds of thousands of views. He is also popular on other social media platforms; his Instagram account has over 235 thousand followers, on Twitch, he has accumulated 150 thousand fans, and his Twitter account has around 215 thousand followers. However, it is his YouTube channel that brings in most of the famous gamer’s earnings.
How SwaggerSouls got popular?
Swaggersouls began his online game playing with Runescape in 2006, then in 2007, switched to Maplestory until 2012. However, his best game to date is the Original Legend of Zelda. He first became popular from streaming live on Twitch where he has gained more than 500,000 followers, but YouTube was the platform that really brought him fame. He uploaded gameplay videos with his first video showing him playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive that he called, “Casual Shoutcasting!” After that, he added videos regularly, but what set him apart from the rest was the variety of medieval outfits he would wear mainly his avatar costume and helmet.

SwaggerSouls’ current net worth is $1.1 million. As of June 2018 he had accumulated 1 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, then in November of that same year, that number grew to 2 million, and finally, in April of 2019, he reached 3 million subscribers. He also has more than 150 million views as of 2019 with an average of 240,000 views per day from various sources, which should generate an estimated revenue of about $960 per day or $350,000 a year just from the ads that are shown on the videos.
Fun fact
One thing about SwaggerSouls is that he has never shown his face to anyone as he claims this is for safety purposes. After reaching one million subscribers, he shared a live video called, “One Million Subscriber Special”, where a friend tried to take off his helmet to reveal his true face and he confuses everyone even more by showing a number of different faces wearing his infamous jacket.
