Having established himself online as DrDisRespect (“Doc”), Herschel Guy Beahm IV was born March 10, 1982, in Encinitas, California. He is a highly respected gamer and YouTuber live streams where he has established himself as an H1Z1 and PUBG professional player.

Who is DrDisRespect?

He got his name, Dr. Disrespect, from his Xbox days from the game “Halo 2”. During his play, he was able to use his voice to chat with other players that were in close proximity to each other. From this, he was able to create a personality that could back up his trash talk, because he felt as though he was great at the game.

In due course, gaming began to expand its online presence, and DrDisRespect along with friends began putting content on a YouTube website in 2010. He began revealing his talents by playing “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2”. Due to his success, it led him to be featured on a gaming channel called Machinima where there was a heavy presence of “Call of Duty” videos. Because of his lack of ability to become a household name, he abandoned YouTube the following year.

How DrDisRespect makes money

“Doc” makes much of his money just like many other streamers through advertising revenue, subscriptions, and donations. It is reported that “Doc” averages a viewing audience of about 25,000 per stream. In addition, he makes a tremendous amount of money from personal appearances and sponsorships.

How DrDisRespect got popular?

After his departure from providing content on YouTube, he was behind the scenes working for gaming company name Sledgehammer Games in a front-line managerial position. Over the next several years, he received a promotion as a level designer which allowed him to assist in the creation of multiplayer maps for the ever-popular “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare”. This subsidiary of Activision was a co-developer of many of the games associated with the “Call of Duty” brand.

From here, he got a lot of attention from his many battle royale games. After switching to “Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds”, he received a jolt of attention that really put him on the map. In addition, his name continued to gain traction especially was he established a presence on the streaming website Twitch. It is well noted that he is well known for his play on “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” which he gained in the neighborhood of 3 million followers on this platform. Consequently, he never looked back.

Approximate annual pay & net worth

it is widely reported that DrDisRespect has a net worth in the neighborhood of $3.5 million. Based on his 25,000 viewers per stream, this leads to about $75,000 per month in gross revenue with a 12-month earnings projection of about $900,000, but this figure does not include advertising and fan donations.

Fun fact

Although DrDisRespect is a catchy stage name, Herschel Guy Beahm IV, his birth name, did go to college where he played Division II basketball at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
