Who is Imaqtpie?

Michael “Imaqtpie” Santana was once the bot laner for the professional league of Legend of League team, Delta Fox and starting AD carry for Rock Solid. He is most known for his League of Legends stream on Twitch. Shortly after expressing his desires of streaming full-time, he quickly got away from the fame and glory of the League of Legends professional scene to become a Twitch and YouTube personality. Imaqtpie is from Margate, Florida in the United States.

How Imaqtpie makes money?

YouTube and Twitch are both very profitable platforms that consistently generate streamers like Imaqtpie a lot of revenue daily. Platforms like Twitch incentive viewers to donate to the streamer. Additionally, Twitch has a built-in subscription and bits model in which viewers can donate directly to the streamer. A standard Twitch subscription is priced at $4.99. Twitch takes half of that, leaving partner streamers the other half of the pie.

The monetization potential doesn’t end there. Twitch and YouTube pays for CPM (cost per thousand) views, which means Imaqtpie is generating a sizable amount of bank from advertisers each month just from doing what he loves, streaming League of Legends. Sponsorships and external donations are another story. In other words, becoming a content creator can be extremely profitable.

Approximate annual pay & net worth

Imaqtpie’s approximate net worth will be based off tangible revenue deductions from online findings. Be wary, a lot of factors come into play that could affect the revenue of a streamer like potential cuts in commission or uploading frequency.

Popular eCPM streams from Twitch Partners range from $0.70 – $2.50, whereas Twitch subscriptions can earn $3.00 a pop. External donations and sponsorship deals aside, 20,000 concurrent viewers and $2.00 eCPM on a typical full-time schedule would yield $40/hour or $1600/week or $6400/month. When factoring in the average number of Twitch subscriptions Imagtpie generates a month, 7000, Imagtpie makes $21,000/month or $252,000 from Twitch subscriptions alone.

Combine those two numbers together and you are looking at a whopping minimum of $328,800/year from Twitch alone. This figure does not include other potential revenue streams from other social platforms that Imaqtpie may have a sizable following on. My best guess is Imagtpie makes a 7-figure annual income when taking into consideration his following and sponsorship endorsements.

Fun fact

Imaqtpie got his first start in the professional scene in 2011 playing for a minor team regarded as, “Oh God Bears.”
